2010 Trip To Italy
Italian Festival winners; Dave Chapman and Caitanya Riggan took their prize-winning 2-week trip to Italy this June. The trip was put together by N.C.I.C.F. volunteer Mary Kieran who owns and runs www.bellaitaliatravel.com.
Dave and Caitanya began their trip in Venice and went on to visit Bergamo, Cinque Terre, Florence, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast.
This was Dave's first trip to bella Italia. His favorite place to visit in Italy was Venice. He really enjoyed being away from traffic and exploring the maze of walkways and canals of this beautiful city. Dave said being in Venice was a delight because everywhere the eye goes there is something beautiful to look at and enjoy.
Caitanya and Dave attended the 54th Venice Biennale art exhibition which is held in Venice every other year. On display were contemporary, impressive and evocative art from all around the world. |

It is impossible to visit Italy and not want to go back again. However when Dave visits Italy next time he wants to stay in one place and get a real feel for Italian culture. He said he would spend more time in the Cinque Terre to enjoy the natural coastal setting and slower-paced lifestyle.
Italy calls to us all. When are you planning to visit Italy?
Be sure to buy your raffle ticket. It just might be you who wins this year's trip!
