About the Italian Festival Committee
The Nevada County Italian Festival is run by a volunteer staff of ten officers and ten committee members and dozens of volunteers donating their time, energy and labor twelve months of the year for the annual event. Our goal is to provide a fun-filled atmosphere and to make the festival a traditional gathering spot for thousands to return each year.  There is something for everyone to enjoy!

In Memory of Greg Seghezzi  (10-19-1959 to 12-31-2010)
Last December our board member Greg Seghezzi suddenly passed away from a heart attack. Greg was instrumental in working with the Nevada County Board of Realtors to secure sponsorship of the wine glasses for our first annual Italian festival. Nearly 1,000 people attended his memorial service at the Nevada County Fairgrounds on February 3rd, a testament to the loss of this man's life to our community.  Greg's family is in our thoughts and prayers.
